This is the 3rd World Ryukyu Kobudo Championship, an open international contest. The kata of kobudo are bo and sai. Hybrid format of face-to-face and online. And in Okinawa, this is the only tournament where actual Kobudo Kumite is performed. The rules for this kumite are stick attacks, formal thrusts, and kicks, and martial arts such as kendo and naginata are also welcome to participate. It’s going to be a very exciting match. With Kata, you can participate in the online section even from overseas! Bo regulation type, Sai regulation type, Bo fugusukunokon (world’s first AI scoring). Shoot a video and send it through the website. You can use PayPal for payment. The application deadline is November 10th.
